Quantity Surveyor – Prime Residential Construction

Location: Yeovil, Somerset
Salary: £70k-£75k + £5k Car Allowance + Package

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee a £15m refurbishment of a luxury property for a private client near Yeovil, Somerset. The Position:
As the Quantity Surveyor, you will:

• Take full responsibility for the financial and contractual management of the project.

• Prepare and manage budgets, valuations, and cost reports.

• Liaise with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure financial control and value engineering are achieved.

• Oversee procurement and manage contract administration.

• Ensure the project is delivered within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on high end residential construction projects.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Experience with cost management software and tools.
