Estimator – Drylining Contractor
Location: Hitchin, Hertfordshire
Salary: Up to £70k plus benefits

Specializing in a diverse range of sectors, including commercial, residential, leisure, and healthcare, they consistently deliver high-quality projects ranging from £50k to £12m in value. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, leisure, and healthcare sectors.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and scope of works to prepare tender submissions.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain pricing and ensure all aspects of the project are considered in the estimate.
• Provide cost analysis and value engineering options to clients.
• Work closely with the project management team to ensure estimates align with project requirements and budgets.
• Assist in the preparation of bids, tenders, and quotations.
• Ensure timely submission of tenders and updates to clients on pricing and progress.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the drylining, ceilings, partitions, etc.
• Strong knowledge of drylining systems and materials.
• Ability to work with tender documents, drawings, and project specifications.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Experience in estimating projects ranging from £50k to £12m.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
