Projects Manager

Location: London (Projects in Fulham, Chelsea & Notting Hill)

Long-established and well-regarded main contractor specialising in high-end residential refurbishment and new build projects across Prime Central and Southwest London. With a turnover of around £10 million and a strong pipeline of work, the business delivers projects up to £4.5m in value with a focus on quality, detail, and client satisfaction.

Role Summary:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take a pivotal role in the business, managing multiple Prime Residential refurbishment projects simultaneously. You will report directly to the Owner of the company and take day-to-day responsibility for 2–3 live sites, each valued between £1m and £3m.

The successful candidate will play a key role in site management, client liaison, programming, and team leadership. Longer term, this role offers a clear path towards profit share or equity, as part of the owner’s succession planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the delivery of 2–3 high-end residential refurbishment projects concurrently
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Develop and manage project programmes (MS Project/Excel-based systems)
• Lead and support on-site teams including Site Managers, Supervisors, and in-house trades
• Report on progress to the business owner and help shape commercial and delivery strategy
• Regular travel between sites and the London office

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing multiple construction sites concurrently
• Strong background in Prime Residential refurbishment (including basements and full fit-outs)
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills
• Capable of programming projects and managing project logistics
• Able to motivate and manage site teams effectively
• A proactive, commercially aware leader who can operate independently
• Based within easy reach of Southwest/Central London

Desirable:

• Experience working for a contractor delivering Prime Resi in areas like Chelsea, Fulham, Notting Hill
• Track record of building strong client relationships and repeat business
• Long-term ambition to be involved in the growth and success of a privately owned construction company
