Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor – London / Home Counties
Permanent | Full Time | Salary DOE + Travel + Package
A well-established, family-owned main contractor is seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist a Senior Quantity Surveyor throughout the full project lifecycle

Attend CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation) meetings

Support commercial functions across multiple live and pre-construction projects

Conduct pricing assessments and tender analysis

Assist in subcontractor management and valuations

Support the measurement and valuation of subcontract packages
-
Ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual terms
Candidate Profile:
-
HNC, Degree, or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a construction-related discipline

Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
-
Keen to learn and develop under the guidance of experienced professionals
-
Excellent communication and numeracy skills
-
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Ideally located within a 45-minute commute of Barking (London Borough), with flexibility for site-based work across London and the Home Counties
