The Role - Design Manager

My client are looking to appoint a Design Manager to join their Design team

Hybrid working available (x3 days in the office in Hampshire)

• Lead the design life cycle, from initial concept through to final delivery
• Overseeing design stages, coordinating with architects, fire engineers and other colleagues
• Understanding of fire safety regulations, cladding systems, and materials used in envelope cladding
• Review and approve design proposals, drawings, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Leading a design team and mentoring others
• Provide technical guidance and problem-solving
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where necessary
• Ensuring projects meeting critical deadlines

You will ideally have 5+ years in cladding/facade design management and it would be adventurous to have fire remediation experience.
