Electrical Manager | £80m Healthcare Project | West London

Premises Recruitment is working with a tier one main contractor to appoint an experienced Electrical Manager for a major healthcare development in West London.

The project is an £80m Medical/Healthcare project, delivering advanced diagnostic imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI), cancer treatment facilities, renal dialysis, and a dedicated training and education centre. The building has been designed as an all-electric development, aligned with the client’s sustainability strategy.

Start Date: 5 January 2026 (potentially earlier)
Duration: Approximately 9 months
Contract Type: Freelance / Contract

The Role

Working as part of the M&E delivery team, you will take primary responsibility for the Electrical packages, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordination, procurement, and supervision of Electrical works

• Day-to-day management of on site electrical activities

• Management and monitoring of electrical subcontractors

• Carrying out quality inspections and supporting the QVF process

• Issuing, managing, and closing out NCRs and CARs

• Implementing and monitoring Work Inspection Records (WIRs)

• Liaising closely with M&E, construction team, and senior site engineers

• Monitoring programme and issuing weekly progress updates to the Project Manager

• Managing H&S and ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations at the work face

Requirements

• Strong electrical background within building services

• Experience working for a main contractor or large M&E subcontractor

• Proven subcontractor management capability

• High attention to detail and quality driven approach

• IT literate and comfortable with site reporting systems

• Relevant Building Services qualification advantageous but not essential

• Working understanding of both electrical and mechanical disciplines
