Are you an experienced Mechanical Project Manager looking to join a respected contractor delivering high-quality projects across London?

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex commercial mechanical installations.

You'll manage projects from initial enquiry through to completion, working alongside an experienced management team and building long-term relationships with prestigious clients.

Reporting directly to the Mechanical Operations Director, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

The Role

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing mechanical and public health projects from pre-construction through to successful handover.
• Developing strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and design teams.
• Reviewing tender documentation, drawings and specifications to identify project requirements, risks and opportunities.
• Coordinating mechanical design throughout the project lifecycle.
• Producing project cost plans, estimates and commercial assessments.
• Procuring subcontractors and suppliers whilst achieving best value.
• Planning and managing project programmes to meet key milestones.
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, labour, plant and materials.
• Monitoring project budgets, variations, cash flow and profitability.
• Leading client meetings and site progress meetings.
• Managing commissioning, testing and final handover.
• Producing Operation & Maintenance Manuals and all project close-out documentation.
• Maintaining exceptional standards of Health & Safety, quality and compliance.

About You

You'll be an organised, commercially aware Mechanical Project Manager who enjoys building long-term client relationships and delivering projects to the highest standards.

We're looking for someone with:

• Minimum 2 years' experience managing Mechanical Building Services projects.
• Strong background in HVAC and/or Plumbing.
• Experience delivering projects from pre-construction through to handover.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Good commercial awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Qualifications

Although qualifications aren't essential, the following would be advantageous:

• SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• F-Gas Certification
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 Plumbing
• Gas Qualifications
• Mechanical Building Services background
